Built up layer by layer

Glued laminated timber consists of lamellae glued together lengthways. As a result, the timber is less prone to warping, retains its dimensions and allows us to supply greater lengths and cross-sections than would be possible from a single log. The raw material is 100% FSC®-certified eucalyptus from our group’s plantations: grandis (strength class D50, straight-grained and light) or cloeziana (strength class D70, durability class 1). We specify the strength class, adhesive class and dimensions for each project in the product specification.

For architects, structural engineers and contractors in timber construction, and for manufacturers of canopies and outdoor products. We supply glulam beams and columns prefabricated, cut to length and made to measure, so that they fit directly into the design. We discuss bespoke profiles and dimensions in advance, providing supporting documentation.

CLT

Cross-laminated timber, under development

CLT consists of cross-laminated layers and is used for load-bearing walls, floors and roofs. Our eucalyptus CLT is currently under development. If you would like to stay informed or discuss a pilot project, please register your interest.

Glulam

Glued laminated timber

Glulam consists of lamellae that are glued lengthways to form beams and columns with high bending strength. We supply prefabricated glulam made from Grandis and Cloeziana for columns, beams, roof structures and canopies. Dimensions and strength class in accordance with the product specification for each project.

Customisation

For projects with specific technical or aesthetic requirements, we supply bespoke laminated elements: straight or curved components, non-standard profiles and structural elements that are prefabricated on site and fit into your design.

Why laminated eucalyptus?

Thanks to the glued laminated layers, the timber shrinks and swells less and retains its dimensions, even under prolonged stress. The raw material is plantation timber from our own supply chain: cloeziana with durability class 1 and strength class D70 (SHR Wageningen, 2024), and grandis with strength class D50. With every delivery, you will receive the FSC® certificate and the product specification.

Applications

Eucalyptus glulam is ideal where large spans, a sleek finish and a long service life are required: canopies, verandas and roof structures, columns and beams in timber construction, and exposed timber elements in architecture. For applications in water and soil, we recommend solid Cloeziana round timber or sawn timber.
