Graded in accordance with SANS 754:2019, with a maximum taper of 7 mm per metre and strength class D70, classified by SHR Wageningen. Each delivery is accompanied by the FSC® certificate and the producer’s grading certificate.
Forever Forests Group works with its own genetic stock and selects trees based on straightness, growth and sustainability. This makes plantation timber a fully-fledged alternative to tropical hardwood.

In 1998, Dr Jip Margadant began importing eucalyptus from South Africa for the Dutch hydraulic engineering sector. In 2008, Ronald Margadant joined the business and founded Margadant Wood, bringing harvesting, sawmilling, treatment and export under the company’s own control. Since 2023, forestry has also been part of the group: Forever Forests Group plants and manages the FSC®100% certified plantations.
Wood Solutions is the group’s importer and distributor: we supply 100% FSC®-certified Eucalyptus cloeziana and grandis as an alternative to tropical hardwood for hydraulic engineering and civil engineering, timber construction and outdoor spaces, in Europe and internationally. Over 65,000 poles in 2025 and 2026, from dyke reinforcement in the Netherlands to resorts in the Maldives.
